Esther Marie Myers of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2025, at the age of 78. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on May 30, 1947, to Ralph and Esther (Fey) Williams, Esther lived a life filled with grace, generosity, and deep devotion to those she loved.

She shared 49 joyful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Roger “Buzz” Myers, whose steadfast love and companionship were at the heart of her life. Together, they built a home rooted in faith, warmth, and laughter.

Esther’s radiant charm was recognized early when she was crowned Miss Cincinnati in 1969, yet it was her inner beauty and gentle spirit that truly defined her. One of ten siblings, she embraced the fullness of family life and is survived by her loving brothers and sister—Ron, Mark, Tina, and Alan. She was a cherished aunt, great-aunt, and great-great-aunt, whose kindness left a lasting mark on generations.

A devoted Christian, Esther lived her faith through compassion, service, and her unwavering love for others. Her passion for animals was another extension of her caring heart, always opening her arms and home to the furry companions she adored.

Esther was beloved by many—for her joy, her wisdom, and her ability to make everyone around her feel seen and treasured. Her absence will be felt deeply, yet her spirit lives on in the memories and love she leaves behind.

A celebration of Esther’s life will be held at a later date in Santa Rosa Beach.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a local animal shelter in her honor.
