Mrs. Donna May Jackson, age 89, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2025. She was born March 15, 1936 in Lockport, New York to Roy and Alice Castell Pichey.
Mrs. Jackson was a resident of DeFuniak Springs, Florida for the past 47 years. She was Catholic by faith. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She worked as a hairdresser for many years and also was a devoted military wife, while raising her children. She loved riding horses. She is affectionately known as “Maw” to all of her grandchildren.
Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her parents and husband John C. Jackson, Sr.
Mrs. Jackson is survived by her significant other of 46 years, Sidney H. Mimitz; children; Christopher M. Jackson and wife Terri, John C. Jackson, Jr, and wife Anina Nakamine, Barbara J. Monsen and husband Michael, Michael P. Jackson and Jeffrey W. Jackson and wife Veronica; grandchildren; Daia Nakamine, Towa Nakamine, Shawn Monsen and wife Kristy, Stephanie Yand and husband J.R., Marissa Jackson, Chase Jackson, Charmayne Jackson, Allen Jackson and Cierra Jackson; great grandchildren; Troy, Kyle, Allie, Zoey, Brynlin, Emmalin and Lane; great great grandchildren; Raelynn, Wyatt, Walker and Lillian
A time of visitation will be held from 9:00 -10:00 AM, Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; with Reverend Joel Glenn officiating.
Flowers are being accepted.
Burial will be held at Magnolia Cemetery.
