Six microchip scanning locations are now available throughout Walton County, with the first station ready outside of the Walton County Shelter. These easy-access stations are ready to help you reunite lost pets with their families.
If you find a dog, (yes, even cats)and it’s after hours, just visit one of the locations below to scan for a microchip. Step-by-step instructions are posted to guide you through the process—if a chip is found, you’ll know exactly what to do. If no chip is found, you can call 850-892-8682 to have an ACO pick up during business hours.
Our goal remains the same: Reunite pets quickly and compassionately with their owners. Your small action could mean the world to a worried family.
Thank you for helping us build a community where lost pets find their way back home. Let’s keep those tails wagging! Always use caution when dealing with a strange animal. Remember they may be scared.
