Mrs. Jan Marie Kenney, age 79, passed away October 19, 2025. She was born on August 22, 1946 in DeFuniak Springs, Florida to Howard L. Kenney and Cedrul L. Garrett Kenney.
Mrs. Kenney was a resident of DeFuniak Springs, Florida. She was a Veteran of the Alabama Army National Guard serving as a Dental Hygienist, as a Master Sergeant. She enjoyed collecting collectables, she was also an avid reader having most of her books signed by the Author.
Mrs. Kenney was preceded in death by her parents Howard L. Kenney and Cedrul L. Garrett Kenney and one niece, Kelley Bannevans.
Mrs. Kenney is survived by her sister, Jacquline “Jacque” Sargent, niece, Kim Sargent, nephew, Packy Bannevans, great nephew, Garrett Bannevans and great niece, Hunter Hoover.
Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at Magnolia Cemetery.
Flowers are being accepted.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Garrett Bannevans and Packy Bannevans.
Burial will be held at Magnolia Cemetery with Military Honors by the United States Army.
