The brackets for the FHSAA Football state championships have recently been released by the Florida High School Athletic Association

To the right is the bracket for 2A – the classification of all three Walton County football teams.  Here are some highlights of the bracket:

#8 seeded Walton travels to Bolles for their first-round game on the 14th.

#3 seeded South Walton hosts intra-county school and #6 seeded Freeport for their first-round game on the 14th.

The winner of each game will then play each other on the 21st in the Regional Semifinals.

The playoffs continue until the State Finals. The championships will be held at South Dade Kia Field at Pitbull Stadium in Miami – the home of the Florida International University Panthers.  The games begin on Wednesday, December 10th and continue through Saturday, December 13th.
