Mrs. Beverly June Vance, age 65, of Freeport, FL, died on 10 November 2025, at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center following a home accident.
Beverly was born August 3rd, 1960 at Offutt AFB, Nebraska, the daughter of William and Helen (Phillips) Milligan. She primarily grew up in Guam and later Bossier City, LA, where she graduated from Airline HS and started a carrier in Banking. Beverly loved God and trusted in savior Jesus Christ. She met the love of her life (Pookie) on Barksdale AFB in 1985. Beverly married Johnnie Vance on 25 Sept 1987 and immediately embarked on an adventurous walk-through life across 9 countries and 11 states, exploring 12,000 ft mountains, 6,000 ft deep canyons, and swimming in four oceans/seas. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Mgt in 2003. Although Beverly fondly remembered her banking carrier for the people skills and experiences, her most cherished carrier was working as an Executive Assistant for a defense contractor at a classified location. Beverly kept her childlike love of flowers, birds and all baby animals throughout her life, and her outward, life-loving personality enabled her to never meet a stranger.
Surviving Beverly is her loving husband 38 years, Major Johnnie Vance, USAF Retired. Beverly now joins her father, mother and both sets of grandparents.
Beverly will be laid to rest with father and mother at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, FL on 20 November at 10:30 AM. Anyone wishing to attend the graveside needs to arrive at the main Pensacola base gate by 09:25 AM to process onto the base. Attendees will proceed to Committal Shelter B.
