On November 16, 2005, Walton County Fire Rescue officially received its Fire Department Identification Number (FDID) from the State of Florida, marking the beginning of 20 years of dedication, service, and growth.
Since that day, the department has expanded tremendously and continues to grow every single day.
From enhanced training and equipment to increased public outreach and emergency response capabilities, our progress is a testament to the commitment of our firefighters, staff, and leadership and the tremendous support of our community.
Here’s to 20 years of service and to the exciting future ahead.
