Mr. Howard William Bishop, Sr age 90, passed away, November 17, 2025. He was born August 26, 1935 in Freeport, Florida to Clyde Thomas Bishop and Stella Lee (Aman) Bishop.
Mr. Bishop was a resident of Freeport, Florida. He was Baptist by faith and a member of Pathway Church in Freeport, Florida, where he served as a Deacon. He was an Ordained Baptist Minister. He was a Veteran of the Armed Forces serving his country in the United States Army. He worked as an Engineer, serving for 15 years. He also worked at Kennedy Space Center. He enjoyed gardening, making jewelry, hunting and fishing.
Mr. Bishop was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde T. Bishop and Stella L. (Aman) Bishop and his brother, Charlie E. Bishop.
Mr. Bishop is survived by his loving wife, Ruth A. Bishop; children, Teresa (Tom) Price, Rachel (Randy) Sikes, H. William (Ponn) Bishop, Jr.; grandchildren, Cherise (Kellen) Jones, Moriah (Cameron) Parker, Luke (Cassandra) Price, David Sikes, Jedidiah Sikes, Caleb (Abigail) Sikes, Benjamin Bishop and Coleridge Bishop; great grandchildren, Aylen, Landon, Killian, Tobias, Lucy, Abel, Ezra, Freya and Elizabeth and his brothers, Olin Bishop, C. Donald (Janis) Bishop and David G. (Connie) Bishop.
A time of visitation will be held from 1:00 -2:00 PM, Saturday, November 22, 2025 at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home; 150 East Highway 20, Freeport, Florida 32439. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 22, 2025 at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home, with Reverends Randy Sikes and Tom Price officiating.
Flowers are being accepted.
Burial will be held at Hatcher Cemetery, with Military Honors by the United States Army.
