Ms. Betty Lynn Ward, 71, passed away Monday, November 24, 2025. She was born on May 13, 1954 in New Martinsville, West Virginia to Wilbur Dutch Seybert and Gladys Bertie Yoho Seybert.
Ms. Ward was a resident of DeFuniak Springs, Florida. She was Presbyterian by faith and a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and mother-in-law. She worked as a waitress at McLeans Restaurant in DeFuniak Springs for over twenty years. She also worked as a bookkeeper for North Florida Clinical Services. She enjoyed taking care of her dogs, going to Wal-Mart, and window shopping.
Ms. Ward was preceded in death by her father and mother and one son, Lloyd Bard III.
Ms. Ward is survived by her children, Sashar Bolouri and Crystal Thorne (John Sr.); grandchildren, Shadey Bolouri, John Thorne Jr., Jala Thorne, Jaedon Thorne, Jase Thorne, Wyatt Bard, and A Lea Bard; her great-grandchild Adilan; her daughter-in-law Vanessa Bard; and her siblings, Anna Seybert, Wilbur “Butch” Seybert, and Kenneth Seybert.
