With 12 years in law enforcement, Sergeant Daniel Cain has built a career dedicated to protecting and serving residents and visitors along Florida’s Gulf Coast.
After spending more than a decade with the Fort Walton Beach Police Department, where he served in several key roles, including four years as a Field Training Officer, two years as a Sergeant, and four years as a SWAT team member, Cain joined the Walton County Sheriff’s Office in January 2024.
His professionalism, leadership, and commitment quickly earned him a promotion to Sergeant.
Outside of work, Sergeant Cain is a devoted husband of 10 years and a proud father of four daughters. He credits his family’s support as a cornerstone of his success and service.
Sergeant Cain’s devotion, integrity, and leadership exemplify the values of the Walton County Sheriff’s Office in every way.
His promotion is a testament to his hard work and the positive impact he continues to make both in the field and within the agency.
