David Ivo Fraser Jr. “Sport”, age 69 passed away peacefully in his favorite chair at his home in Red Bay, Fl. He was born September 27, 1956 in Tucson, Arizona to David Ivo Fraser Sr and Beverly Joan Moffit Fraser.
Sport, was an avid outdoorsman and a Legendary local Angler. If you have ever fished at the 331 bridge chances are you know, Sport. Sport, was a man of many talents. He was a marine, a father, an uncle, a brother, a grandpa, a friend, a hunter, a gatherer and a fish catching machine. Sport, had a way of making you smile and give you the feeling that everything was going to be ok. Sport, served in the United States Marine Corps, Semper Fi. He was a hard working blue-collar man with over 40yrs in the trade as a Drywall Finisher that took pride in his work making countless homes beautiful in the panhandle & Gulf Coast. Sport, was a kind steady soul that was loved by all that knew him.
Sport is survived by a loving family; son, Taylor Fraser; daughter, Lauren O’Hara; sister, Suzie Herrington; brother, Chris Fraser; brother-in-law but more like a brother, Fritz Herrington; nephews, Blake Herrington and Warren Herrington and 4 grandchildren, Haley Fraser, Grant Joyner, Lilly O’Hara and Navy O’Hara.
Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, December 7, 2025 at the Herrington Family Residence; 1436 LaGrange Road, Freeport, Florida 32439.
