With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Dianna Edie, lovingly known as “FRED” who departed this life on August 4th at the age of 76. A beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, Dianna lived a life full of dedication and quiet strength.

Born in Kansas City, Missouri, Dianna spent her life cultivating deep connections—with family, with animals, and with the many people she encountered through her work. She was a proud and active member of the Arabian Horse Association, where her love of horses became not only a personal joy but a shared passion with a close-knit community. Whether showing, breeding, or simply caring for her horses, Dianna’s dedication made a lasting impression on all who knew her.

In addition to her equestrian pursuits, Dianna was a devoted small business owner for over 30 years. Through her business, she built something lasting—not only a company, but a legacy of hard work, integrity, and service. Her tireless commitment and entrepreneurial spirit were matched only by the kindness and loyalty she showed to her customers.

Dianna is survived by her brother Terry Carr; her three children Richard Peterson, Rachel Espy, and Rebecca Cross and her beloved grandchildren. She was a cherished wife and mother and a constant source of strength for her family.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in her memory to Save The Horses at savethehorses.org

She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever in our hearts.
