Please join us in congratulating Firefighter-Paramedic Carlos Diaz-Acevedo, Walton County Sheriff’s Office, Florida‘s Fire Rescue Employee of the 2nd Quarter.
Carlos is a highly capable paramedic whose sharp clinical skills and calm presence have made a real difference on countless calls. He doesn’t lead with words or ego. He leads by doing the work, and his steady performance has earned the respect of those around him.
He is the kind of teammate others naturally look to. A steady mentor who leads by example and quietly raises the standard for patient care across the board. On the Technical Rescue Team, he is focused, prepared, and always looking for ways to improve and refine his skills.
In addition to being a full time firefighter-paramedic, Carlos is working toward a degree in Structural Engineering. His commitment to expanding his expertise will enhance WCFR’s technical and rescue capabilities for years to come.
Carlos approaches his work with quiet confidence and without ego. He shows up with humility, supports his crew, and makes this agency stronger by being part of it. We are proud to recognize him and proud to work alongside him.
