Ms. Evelyn Barbara Harper, age 84, of Freeport passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2025. She was born September 26, 1941 in Portland, Florida to Henry J. Paulk and Irene Godwin Paulk.
Ms. Harper was Baptist by faith and a member of the Freeport First Baptist Church where she volunteered on numerous committees and the women’s ministry. She worked as a registered nurse and certified dental assistant. She dearly loved her family and attending her grandchildren’s sporting events.
Ms. was preceded in death by her father and mother, her husband of 41 years, William Harper, and daughter Susan Jones.
Ms. Harper is survived by her son-in-law Derek Jones; two grandchildren, Justin Jones and Blakely Tindale (Dennis Tindale); and two great-grandchildren, Colton Tindale and Emerie Tindale.
A time of visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 AM, Monday, October 20, 2025 at Hatcher Cemetery; 8 Hatcher Cemetery Road, Freeport, Florida 32439.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, October 20, 2025 at Hatcher Cemetery with Reverend Joel Glenn officiating.
