James Robert McNeil, age 85, passed away Thursday, October 16, 2025 in DeFuniak Springs, Florida. He was born April 20, 1940 in Freeport, Florida to Robert McNeil and Odell Campbell.

A time of visitation will be held Friday, October 31, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Davis-Watkins Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 1, 2025 in the chapel of Davis-Watkins Funeral Home, 1474 State Highway 83 North, DeFuniak Springs, Florida, beginning at 2:00 p.m. Committal services will follow in Magnolia Cemetery.
