We’re thrilled to announce that Main Street DeFuniak Springs has received the Florida Department of State Sunshine Booster Award for our transformative Big Store Makeover! 
The Big Store, a historic landmark that sat vacant for over 40 years, is now a vibrant and welcoming centerpiece in our downtown. Thanks to the incredible support from the City of DeFuniak Springs, past board leadership, the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County (whose 2024 grant helped make this possible), and the creative vision of local artist Kelsey Kelley of Pinewood Studios, the building now features a stunning new mural and a freshly painted storefront. Together, we’re making Main Street shine brighter than ever!
