Nadean Gomillion Burke, 67, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2025. Born in South Florida, she spent most of her adult life in Bruce, Florida. Above all else, Nadean was a devoted wife to Doyce Burke—her husband of over 50 years—a loving mother to two children, and a proud grandmother to three. Her heart was wide open, embracing not just her family, but anyone she considered one of her own.
A natural caretaker, Nadean dedicated her life to helping others, especially her family and close friends. Her kindness, loyalty, and deep sense of generosity made everyone around her feel like they belonged.
She will be remembered most for her giving spirit and the love she so freely shared. Her absence will be deeply felt by all who were lucky enough to know her.
A time of visitation will be held from 9:00- 10:00 AM, Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home; 150 East Highway 20 East, Freeport, Florida 32439
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at Clary-Glenn Freeport Chapel Funeral Home, with Reverend Michael Presley officiating.
Flowers are being accepted.
Pallbearers will be Chad Markham, Bradley Shelley, Blake Shelley, Clayton Shelley, Logan Lollie and Luke Lollie.
Burial will be held at Antioch Cemetery, in Bruce, Florida.
