On July 4th, the Walton County Sheriff’s Office was called to a domestic disturbance in progress in Freeport following a frantic 911 call.
Deputies got out with the victim, who was on the side of the road near County Highway 3280 and Smokehouse Lake Road. The suspect, Randall Stewart, 43, of Panama City, kneed the female in the stomach, knowing she was eight weeks pregnant, and then fled into the woods with the keys to their vehicle.Walton Correctional K-9 Teams responded, and Stewart was tracked and apprehended.
Stewart had felony warrants out of Bay County and Texas. He was transported and booked into the Walton County Jail, where he
is facing an additional charge of aggravated battery on a pregnant victim. He was given a $25,000 bond and is awaiting extradition to Bay County.
