Tammy Ann Sasnett age 66, a lifelong resident of Ponce de Leon, Florida, passed away Monday, October 20, 2025 in Crestview, Florida. She was born April 2, 1959 in Bay County, Florida to Edgar Lindsey and Viola Callahan.
She is preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Sasnett; mother, Viola Lindsey; father, Edgar Lindsey; six brothers, Dan, Tony, Lonnie, Donald, Kenny, and Sam Lindsey.
Tammy is survived by three children: two sons, Shane Sasnett (Krystal) and Shawn Sasnett (Christy); and one daughter, Sheila Sasnett (Dustin) all of Ponce de Leon, Florida; five grandchildren, Shane Sasnett, Jr. (aka “Turtle”), Hope, Dylan, and Shawna Sasnett, and Lily Callaway all of Ponce de Leon; one brother, Tim Lindsey of Georgia; two sisters, Joann Jordan of Tallahassee, Florida and Pat Lindsey of Ponce de Leon, Florida; several nieces and nephews; and a very special friend, Ricky Brannon of Bonifay, Florida.
A time of visitation will be held Friday, October 24, 2025 in the chapel of Davis-Watkins Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025 in the chapel of Davis-Watkins Funeral Home, 1474 State Highway 83 North, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32433 beginning at 11:00 a.m. Committal services will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
