Terry M. White, known to many as Jackson, passed away on November 11, 2025, at the age of 74. Born on May 10, 1951, in Marion, Indiana, Jackson made Freeport, FL his home for more than twenty years.

Jackson was a proud veteran of the HVAC industry, dedicating decades of hard work and craftsmanship to his trade. Alongside his close friend and mentor, Larry Batchelor, he helped establish Mills Heating & Air and Larry Batchelor Mechanical as trusted leaders in the field along the Emerald Coast. Through his vision, determination, and relentless work ethic, Jackson built a reputation for excellence that earned the respect of both colleagues and competitors alike.

Known as a fierce negotiator, Jackson approached every challenge with confidence and clarity. Yet beneath that toughness was a man of deep loyalty and generosity — a steadfast ally, a mentor to many, and a friend who could always be counted on. His influence extended far beyond the businesses he helped build; it lived on in the people he worked beside, taught, and inspired throughout his career.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Fowler; brother, Robert White; and sister, Theresa White.

Jackson is survived by his beloved Boston Terrier, Little Man, his children, Chris White (Laura), Nikoel Stevens, Marty White (Heather), Mariah Ellison (Jeff), and Ashley Hall; his niece, Savannah Egan; nephews, Rob White and E.J. White; and eight grandchildren — James, Cash, Harrison, Olivia, Reese, Anderson, Isabelle, and Summer.

He will be remembered for his generous heart, easygoing spirit, and the love he shared with his family and friends. Jackson touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A memorial service will be held at a later date to celebrate his life.
