What a JOY(ner)!

Since coming to the Walton County Jail, Jacob Thomas Joyner has been absolutely crushing it, earning numerous certifications and researching inmate programs all on his own using the tools and resources available to him during his incarceration.

Today, thanks to the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles FLOW (Florida Licensing on Wheels) Bus, he was reissued his license and plans to apply for the CDL and Heavy Equipment Operators Class offered at the jail.

“Back in December, I was featured on the Sheriff’s Office Facebook page,” said Joyner. “It made me want to turn my life around. Consider this the start of my success story!”
