Walton County Fire Rescue is hosting National Rescue Consultants‘ FLUSAR Trench Rescue Operations & Technician course this week, right here in Walton County.
Members of our Technical Rescue Team (TRT) are training alongside firefighters from across the region to strengthen their skills in one of the most dangerous and technical rescue disciplines: trench rescue. The course covers everything from hazard recognition and shoring system installation to scene safety and patient extrication in unstable conditions.
Hosting this course reflects the department’s ongoing commitment to staying prepared, staying current, and delivering the highest level of service to the people of Walton County.
