James “JT Money” Allen George Treadway passed away Friday, May 23, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. He was born August 4, 1984 in Charleston, South Carolina. JT was a farmer who loved all things gardening. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding his four-wheeler. JT cherished spending time with his family and friends and loved his women. Most of all he was known for being the first to help others and always putting a smile on the face of anyone in his company.
He is preceded in death by his dad, JR Graham; papa, Gary Dickens; Grandma, Jane Dickens; two uncles, Billy Dickens and Robert Dickens; Grandpa JG Sasnett.
JT is survived by his fur daughter, Pepper; mother, Debbie Sasnett; dad, Weldon Sasnett; six siblings, Gary Treadway, Ariana “Biscuit” Sasnett (Darien), Shawnna Sasnett, Crystal McCurley (Kevin), Tina Sieferet (Kent), and Austin Cumbie; best friend, Cody Land; love of his life, Megan Donaldson; close friends, Michelle Morrison, Randall & Lori Yates, Dee Cruce, and Dustin (G’enesis) ; his heart, pride and joy, Emmaland; special nephew, Kylar; nieces and nephews, Trent, Ravyn, Gabby, Zadie, Gracie, Deacon, Brennon, Connor, and Gavin; nana, Theresa Sasnett; aunt, Therese; uncle, Sheldon; other family, George; step-mom, Mariea; close neighbor like a grandma, Ms. Vivian; along with several cousins, extended family and friends.
The family has asked the following people to serve as pallbearers, Cody Land, Austin Cumbie, Randall Yates, DJ Martin, Bubba Simmons, and Jay McCullers. Honorary pallbearers will be as follows, Jesse Hicks, Michael “Popcorn” Sanders, Gary Treadway, and Lori Yates.
A time of visitation will be held Friday, May 30, 2025 in the chapel of Davis-Watkins Funeral Home, 1474 State Highway 83 North, DeFuniak Springs, Florida from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 31, 2025 at Davis-Watkins Funeral Home beginning at 2:00 p.m. with Minister Stacy Stafford, Minister Buddy Pennington, and Minister David Davis officiating. Committal services will follow at Westville Cemetery.
