Marjorie DeLong, age 71, wife of Vaughn E. DeLong and resident of Gaskin, Florida, passed away Thursday, June 12, 2025, in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, after a short illness. She was born one of five children to Louie and Elizabeth Storck on January 3, 1954. Marjorie married her husband in Riverdale Heights, Maryland on August 3, 1975.
She is survived by her husband, Vaughn DeLong; two sons, Christopher of Pinehurst, North Carolina and his wife, and James “Munch” of Gaskin, Florida; four siblings, Betty Lee and her husband of Mobile, Alabama, Roy Storck and his wife of Cape Charles, Virginia, Jim Storck and his wife of West Virginia, and Susan Storck of Cape Charles, Virginia; and one granddaughter, Cricket.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, June 30, 2025, in the chapel of Davis-Watkins Funeral Home, 1474 State Highway 83 North, DeFuniak Springs, Florida from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
