MIRAMAR BEACH, Fla. (May 28, 2025)—–The 2025 Southeastern Conference Spring Meetings, a gathering of the SEC’s Presidents and Chancellors, Athletics Directors, Senior Woman Administrators, Faculty Athletic Representatives, Head Football Coaches and Head Men’s and Women’s Basketball Coaches, continued Wednesday at the Hilton SanDestin Beach Resort.
Following Wednesday’s meetings, SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey discussed a variety of topics with the media:
**The SEC’s Presidents and Chancellors met for the first time at this year’s Spring Meetings on Wednesday. Included on their agenda was a conversation with ESPN and a discussion on the House settlement.
**The Head Football Coaches and Athletics Directors discussed several topics, including the College Football Playoff, transfer portal and the SEC football schedule.
**A joint session was held with the Athletics Directors, Senior Woman Administrators, Faculty Athletics Representatives and coaches groups. The session included a review of SEC legislative proposals.
**Game times and networks for the first three weeks of the football season will be announced Thursday at 11 a.m. CT. More game time windows will be announced in mid-June.
**An awards dinner celebrating the 2024-25 academic year was scheduled for Wednesday evening.
