After nearly 40 years of service, Chief Deputy Audie Rowell has announced his retirement from Law Enforcement, which will occur in the first part of July 2025.
In his announcement, Rowell reflected on his four decades of public service.
“What an incredible journey it has been, and ending this journey at the Walton County Sheriff’s Office could not have been better for me,” said Rowell. “It has been an honor to wear the Walton County uniform and to work with the great professionals of this agency.”
“My gratitude runs deep for Sheriff Adkinson for all he has done for me. I consider him one of the great Sheriffs of the modern times.”
