Walton County Fire Rescue was on scene of a structure fire just west of the city limits of DeFuniak Springs.
Just before 10:30 PM Tuesday, firefighters were dispatched to a home on Highway 90 following a 911 call reporting a residential fire.
Firefighters arrived on scene to find smoke coming from the roof of the home.
WCFR crews quickly began extinguishing the blaze. Firefighters remain on scene at this time.
Fortunately, the residents of the home all made it out safely.
The State Fire Marshal’s Office is responding to investigate the cause of the fire.
